Thano is a Junior at Avenues The World School in New York City. He can’t remember a time when he put another hobby before his interest in LEGO. He’s always loved building things, so much so that his Lego creations have infiltrated an entire room in his home. Thano’s famous lego room displays hundreds of builds he and his brother have worked on throughout the years: Scooby Doo, an interactive soccer field from the 1990s, Jurassic World and many modular buildings (i.e. diner, boutique hotel, pet store, corner garage) - just to name a few. He’s played Soccer for 12 years, Piano for 9 years, and Double Bass for 7 years - amidst learning German for the last 4 years.

Thano has spent years developing his interest in constructing buildings and cities with Lego and has seen, first-hand, how the process enables these builds to live on forever. Through The Lost Architecture Project, he hopes to shine a light on buildings that are particularly at-risk of being destroyed - whether because of a natural disaster or a man-made one.
